OLIVIER MORENON

EXECUTIVE MEMBER

Olivier Morenon is a lecturer at the Swiss University of Applied Sciences, where he has been teaching nursing students since 2019. As a teaching adviser in the nursing programme, he uses his knowledge of the humanities and research to train future healthcare professionals.

Prior to his current position, he taught in France for five years, including at the University of Aix-Marseille, where he was a lecturer for nursing masters students. With a doctorate in educational sciences from the Université Lumière Lyon II, he has devoted his research to the resilience and vulnerability of student nurses, a central theme of his academic publications.

Olivier is also involved in innovative teaching approaches, such as hosting a podcast on mental health, in order to raise awareness and support students in their studies. His passion for education and his commitment to supporting learning are reflected in the creation of teaching environments that encourage reflection and skills development.

He has been a member of FINE Europe since the Barcelona 2024 congress, and now hopes to join the executive board to strengthen collaboration between the European institutions. As the Swiss representative, Olivier hopes to contribute to the visibility of FINE Europe, promote mobility partnerships and develop research projects in nursing education.

Bilingual in English and Italian, and with good skills in Spanish and German, Olivier has the necessary assets to work in the European context. His skills in communication and educational innovation, combined with his network, make him an ideal candidate for an executive role within FINE Europe.
